Rugelach

  • 2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. of cream cheese
  • 2 sticks butter, well chilled
Put in a bowl and mix together until you have a bowl of dough. Divide into 5 pieces and shape each piece into a ball and wrap each ball in plastic wrap and refridgerate overnight. Roll balls, 1 by 1, on well floured board and roll to circl very thin. Cut into 12 wedges, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and chopped nuts. Roll each wedge towards point. Place point down on cookie sheet (not greased). Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes, until light tan. Dust cookies with confectioner's sugar.
